What we work on together

Every person arrives with a different story. These are the areas I see most often in the therapy room, not as a checklist, but as a starting point for a conversation.

PTSD & trauma

Processing what happened, at a pace your nervous system can actually handle, so the past stops running the present.

Anxiety

Understanding the racing thoughts and the tight chest, and building a calmer relationship with uncertainty.

Depression

Gently rebuilding energy, meaning and connection when everything has started to feel heavy or far away.

Relationship conflict

Working through recurring conflict, communication breakdowns, and the patterns couples and families repeat.

Identity & self

Making space for questions about who you are, who you’re becoming, and what a life aligned with that looks like.

Not sure where you fit?

Most people don’t arrive with a clean label. Book a first session and we’ll figure it out together.

“

Therapy isn’t about fixing you. It’s about understanding you well enough that things stop feeling so unmanageable.

Founder, Suella Wellness
Mental Health Clinician

A practice built around one relationship at a time

I started Suella Wellness because I kept meeting people who had been told their pain was too complicated, or not serious enough, or something to simply push through. My work is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and shaped around your context, not a script.

Licensed clinician trained in trauma-focused and cognitive-behavioural approaches.
Culturally grounded sessions held in a way that respects your background and beliefs.
Flexible format in person in Kampala, or online for clients further out.

How we’d work together

A first session is just a conversation. Here’s what tends to follow.

01

An initial consultation

We talk through what’s brought you here, your history, and what you’re hoping will be different. No commitment beyond the hour.

02

A plan built around you

Together we agree on a focus, a rough pace, and what approach fits: trauma-focused work, CBT, or a blended approach.

03

Ongoing sessions

Regular sessions, usually weekly to start, with check-ins along the way on what’s working and what needs adjusting.

Meet the team
